"How To" Request If you are looking for a how to thread and cant find one, post up the idea here. Someone will either point you in the right direction or hopefully someone can whip a "how to" together for what you need.

Default Ecotec 2.0L LSJ

Has any one done a Delete air condition compressor?
I am going to put this engine in a long travel sand car & will not need the air condition compressor.
Thanks Mark

just need to make yourself an idler pulley adapter. honestly, if you remove the rest of the a/c system besides the pump, you can just have it act as a 10 lb idler as long as the clutch is disengaged. just unplug it and tuck the wire somewhere. thats what my friend paul did. if you do the adapter get the adjustable tensioner and stage 2 belt so you have room for error.

To add on to that... just take the A/C Compressor and remove the insides from it and keep the rear cover off.

Lemme see if I can find a picture.
