Oil from a k&n especially if someone put too much oil on it can get through the the filter thats why they started making dry filters soooooo calll bullshit- 726.0chevelle

Yea it doesnt make any sense my car is an 07 auto with 86k miles factory plugs only changed the fuel filter only once. All I fill up with is the 10% ethanol gas and i average 29 to 30 driving pretty fast (3 tickets one year fast) Did you put a cold air intake on it or something maybe a k&n oiled...- 726.0chevelle

you dont need the whole steering wheel just the switch panel and wiring harness that connects to it. I am trying to do the same to my 07 right now. Yea i seen that its so hard to find good info I called 2 different dealerships and got 2 completely different answers one says the bcm needs to be changed and one says they can just program it. I called a local performance shop and they knew more than the dealerships. Lukkys how much did it cost...- 726.0chevelle

i have a plan im getting a cruise control panel out of another cobalt and the short wiring harness then plug that into my cobalt and bring it to a local mechanics shop to have them activate the cc in the bcm. The shop told me they would program it from 50 to 75 and I can get the panel that goes...- 726.0chevelle

What kind of aftermarket kits? I am a lil about the computers on late model Ls engine hense the screen name and a lot of guys were adding cc on the drive by wire throttle body cars without a whole lot of work. The cobalts are dbw so i didnt think it would be that much to it- 726.0chevelle
