2.2L bore limit?
Anyone know how far the Ecotec 2.2L can be bored out? I'd like to go 0.060" oversize, but I don't know if the cylinder liners can be machined that far. Anyone bore out a 2.2L? Thanks.- JTzDad

Overbore Limit on 2.2?
Anyone know what the limit is on an overbore for a 2006 2.2? Would like to go 0.060" over, if I can get the pistons "approved" by NHRA, but wondered if there's an issue with the bore sleeve thickness. A search on this site and elsewhere did not yield an answer. Hopefully someone here has...- JTzDad
