I've been doing some research for small tuning projects on a 2008 Cobalt LT. It has an automatic, with the (uh) "upgraded" 2007+ version of the L61, 2.2 engine. There's two things in particular that have been urking me:
1.) 2.4 Throttle Body swap: Everywhere I go on the internet, people claim that a 2.4 throttle body swap (and this would probably be with aftermarket intake manifold and exhaust system) should and can only be done on an LS model Cobalt. At first I thought it had something to do with confusion between the ECU and automatic transmission, but I saw a video that someone has done it to an automatic LS.
So firstly, if I may kindly ask, if and why a 2.4 throttle body on a 2.2 LT would be an issue, if you had it tuned to handle it.
2.) Updated L61 Camshaft swaps:
Although it is the same engine, I kind of spite the fact that the 2007+ 2.2 was still called the L61, because it made this extremely frustrating to research. The 07+ uses a weird timing system, and so far I have not found a solid manufacturer that develops performance camshafts for this generation engine. I found this COMP cams that are (according to the notes) unequal length, and was wondering if this compensates for the timing mechanism, but the application says L61 05-09, so I'm not sure if they have the application info correct.

However, I just wanted to double check and see if anybody knows of any others.
I like my current Cobalt and would like to resist the urge to get a different one just for some tuning fun. Thanks in advance
