Over the past couple months I've been having a vibration coming from the front left wheel well area when going 40-60 initially and now starts around 35. I thought it was the bearings to begin with but there is no play with the tire. I did recently lift the tire off the ground and spun it while in neutral and noticed, it was harder to spin in reverse than forward. I also noticed that when changing from forwards to reverse, once I spun the tire a few degree's there was a click in the engine transmission area (maybe the cv shaft?). I don't have the equipment to really get all the way under the car safely so I couldn't pinpoint it exactly. If anyone has any Ideas, I would rather try to fix it myself if possible.

My guess is wheel bearing, assuming you don't have a lsd, jack up one front tires, emergency brake on, rear wheels blocked, start car and run it up to 30 or so. Repeat with other front tire. The loud one probably needs a new wheel bearing.

Or you could have just lost a wheel weight or have a tire going bad. Try rotating the tires and see if the vibration moves or goes away, harder to feel a bad/out of balance tire on the rear.
