Hopefully someone with some knowledge can help me with some codes that showed up in my 07 Cobalt SS (Manual) 76,000 km.
  • P0053- Heater Resistance (Bank 1, Sensor 1)
  • P0054- " " (Bank 1, Sensor 2)
  • P0102- Mass/Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input
  • P0443- Evaporative Emission System Purge Control Valve Circuit
Test showed a total of 10 issues, but these 5^ had duplicates.

I've recently had my Mass Air Flow sensor and Intake filter changed (2.5 Months ago) and everything was working good until yesterday when my engine light showed up on my cluster panel which is on steady (not blinking). Also my boost (kPa) guage is reading -68 on idle and doesn't reach above 0 while accelerating.

I'm completely devastated..:( Someone plz help me

I think the P0102 is the problem child here. The other two can be caused by the MAF being screwy, it's absolutely what's causing the car to go into limp mode.

Might not help, but you can clean it out with MAF cleaner. Probably need to either replace the sensor or the wiring.

If you have the Torque App and an OBDII to Bluetooth adapter you can get a better picture of what the sensor is reporting.

The Evap Purge code might necessitate a replacement of that as well. But start with the MAF as it's what's causing the stumble.
