I have a 2006 Cobalt. 2.2L. Auto. It will crank over but not start. I can hear the fuel pump start up. I pulled the valve cover to see if the timing chain broke. It's nice and tight and the camshafts are both turning freely. I plugged the scanner to it and got these codes. P0300, P0446, and P0068. I had already changed the maf sensor a few weeks back. I was reading somewhere they said to disconnect the battery and reset the ecm. So I did that. Now the codes are all gone. Car still doesnt start.

Any help would be great.

P0068 is Throttlebody performance
Check for any vacuum leaks.
Throttle blade moves smoothly with the throttle pedal when the key is set to ON.
Clean MAF.
Clean MAP.

P0300 is random misfire
A symptom not a cause.
Check to make sure you have spark on all cyls.

P0446 is Evap Vent performance
Emmisions issue only. Ignore until you get it running.

A faulty gas cap can cause a no start. I would check there first and then the cam sensor and crank sensor.
