06 2.2 Loud buzz
Update......if anyone cares. My wife found a YouTube video with a similar noise saying it was bad wheel bearings. I changed out one front wheel bearing , the noise was reduced and when I changed the other it was completely gone. I would have bet everything that the noise was a loose plastic...- Duo_sonic

06 2.2 Loud buzz
2006 2.2 183k Ive had a very loud buzz inside of the vehicle for the last few days. No shake in the wheel or anything like that the car drives fine. I think its some kinda fluttering plastic panel somewere but I cant find anything loose. I googled a bit and found similar issues but never a fix...- Duo_sonic

Raw Gas Smell in Interior While Driving
Mine did the same thing. It smelled like gas for so many months then I jacked up the front end to change the oil. When i lowered the jack gas started pouring out. My mechanic did the repair . he said the line had multiple holes in it all the way up to the gas tank.- Duo_sonic

Milkshake from condensation
Thank you. Ill check that out. The o ring on tue bottom of the oil filler seems very loose. Its easier to pull the whole filler neck out that get the cap off.- Duo_sonic

Does anyone else keep getting milkshake on the oil cap this winter? Is this just a cobalt thing or do I have a more serious issue? 06 2;2 176k. Im not loosing coolent and Ive even had the compression checked so Im pretty sure the head gasket is good. Its just really depressing to see that nasty...- Duo_sonic

Just so everyone knows my mechanic did a compression test and the numbers were good. He said its just condensation from all the wild temperature swings we have had in Mi.- Duo_sonic

Timing chain\chains was changed by a shop 70k miles ago along with the cam balencer and the lifters(one was stuck). Thank you for the quick reply.- Duo_sonic

06 cobalt 2.2 auto 175k miles. I believe the head gasket is going out, did an oil change last night and under the oil fill cap was lots of milkshake goo. There was some obvious coolent contamination when I dumped the drain pan. Its not knocking, it has started to tick a little louder than...- Duo_sonic
