2006 cobalt gutless..
just curious, i have 2006 cobalt and it is absolutely gutless, yes i know they arn't supposed to be fast or anything, but im talking in comparison to my old 03 cavi, and my g/f 06 ion. i could floor it and it basically feels like i have a couple buddies in the back pushing my car untill...- ryley_999

Key Fob stopped working
i had the same issue one day where it just suddenly stopped working, almost got locked out of my car because all the key holed are seized.. anways, i had to pull the radio fuse to reset the security system then it started working again- ryley_999

Yup I check it all everything is tight and intact, I'm almost certain now that the ticky is the manifold because the sound is coming from the back of the motor no where else . And I'm thinking the grindy noise is my starter because the sound is coming from the middleish of the front of the...- ryley_999

Alright, so I took the head cover off, and both chain guides are there and in tact. And there no slack on the chain I tried moving it with a screw driver and turning the motor with a wrench and no slack pops up any where, But the motor is sludged up pretty good Far side of the motor is more...- ryley_999

crap i was hoping it wasn't the guides, guess its coming apart this weekend, any clue as to why the noise would go away? also do u you think the ticking noise is from the chain guide problem?- ryley_999
