And finished. After having an o-ring stuck in Truckee on a truck the car is back running. 2200 bucks later it feels like a new car again. Seems to make more boost now. I'm seeing up to 17-18 on extended WOT runs in 3rd gear. When it was new it'd occasionally hit 16-17 but mostly sat around 14-15... -

nailed it! yep, passenger side had a baseball sized hole in the tank. Oddly my turbo wasn't actually damaged. After they got it pulled of and cleaned I went over and there's no real sign of excessive wear. Spins freely with no wiggle. Still replacing it anyway. 175K is a lot of miles. Wipers... -

09 Sedan SS with 175K hard driven miles and it's finally popped the hair dryer. Didn't expect it to go that far. Regular oil changes with Mobil 15K seems to have paid off there. In any event it's apparently blowing oil into the intercooler. I was driving like normal and went to about 5lbs boost... -

Ratteling noise from the rear
Ditto this. Replaced rear shocks and then the noise started. -

cannot find cause of suspension noise!
I just went through this. Mystery noise on jounce and rebound. Seemed to be coming from one or both front wheels. Ended up that the steering column had a loose connection. I'm not sure what specific part it was because I had a shop do the fix with a bunch of other work. The wrench said that...- r3dn3ck

First breakage and a new product available for you. (DIY)
I went to check the air filter (it's 38K miles old and still relatively clean :think: ) and when I pulled the lid the PCV spud that sticks out of the charge pipe broke in half. 80 bucks later a new OEM pipe is on. really pissed about that. I also noticed quite a bit of sticky oil sludge in... -

I know exactly what the problem is... the connector for the USB to the main board has a solder defect and one of the signal pins is getting only periodic full connection. I know it's not the power pins because my devices charge no problem very consistently. I'm pretty sure it's not the main... -

2010 Cobalt - Oil Change
got my 09 in december with 24 miles on it. It has 24000 on the clock. I change my oil every 3K with synthetic and the filter every 2nd oil change (every 6K).- r3dn3ck

My 09 sedan SS came with that neato radio with the USB port in front but the USB is acting up. I hit a bump and it tries to connect to a USB device even when there's nothing plugged into the USB. It's pissing me off big time. It's gotten to the point that I can't even turn the bloody radio on... -

I invented (about 8 years ago) and make my own PCV oil air sep kits... I developed them for OHC v6 and v8 engines but the kit could probably be adapted to our uses. I do make them for others but I sell them at cost, not as a business. I'm a computer geek by trade so I have no interest in selling... -
