Cant shift

My car won't shift to 2 3 4 5 or reverse, I only can drive on first gear and it's stuck on 1st gear and can't go to neutral either.. The shift only moves to 1 and 2 feels loose... And I just got a new clutch about 500-1000 miles ago. Any suggestions?

Check the shift linkage holder on the transmission. It's right under the fuse box.

Should look like the black bracket here:

Make sure the shift cables are clipped into it and it is mounted securely to the transmission with both bolts.

Well it's in the shop, I sent a text to my mechanic of that picture but he hasn't responded

Other possibilities:
Shift cable isn't attached at the bottom of the shifter.
Shift cable isn't attached to the transmission levers.
The roll pin that holds the shift levers onto the transmission is broken.

My mechanic said he checked the cables and they r attached and everything's good, but he still is looking he is saying it might be in the tranny

That'd be a new one to me, but certainly possible.

Ended up u were right the pin connected to the tranny was broken. Cost me 200 for the maintenance and the new pin! Thanks a lot!

You bet! Just so you know, that part is like $10 at a parts store and if you know your way around hand tools you could have done it yourself.
