It's at the front of the rear axle. Where the swing arm connects to the body. More or less right in front of the rear tire.

I'm not sure I saw it.. I took some pics...

My friend listened to the sound and said it's probably a bad shock.
So maybe I can try replacing those.. what are the best ones to get for the eibach springs?

Should I get the 2007 Cobalt SS shocks?
BASS, what would match the other if I do only replace the broken one?

Thanks!

Did u tug the wheel?

The shock in the rear is pretty inexpensive though

Also is the shock wet? Like oil on it?

I tugged on the wheel some and it didn't reproduce the sound.. only when driving. . I would say it could sound like a shock bottoming out.. but I did not see oil or fluid on or around the shock..

Put some weight in the back and do the bounce test. If they are blown. That car would bounce like a low rider lol

More like an '80s Cadillac, just keeps floating.

You should her the whole rear up in the air with the suspension unloaded and then shake it to see what moves.

Lol. A boat. My audi is the same. Going side to side around turns. It feels soft though.

Good shocks should bounce up, over shoot, and then settle to ride height. Only the one bounce.
