Was recently told my struts were bad by a mechanic. He said that they were just hanging there, is it possible to know they are bad just by looking at them? Everything I have read online hasn't said that u can tell they are bad by eye test. Plus I pushed down on each side above front tires and it comes back up and settles like normal, they say the car will bounce up and down before stopping if struts are bad.
