I'm so nervous about this purchase , it's a decent amount of money to lose if I'm wrong. So if I do need a check valve because i dont buy a cali L61 ,then I have that and the mani on my motor I can just swap onto the new motor right? Nothing is different inside the head or block right ?

I have an 06 cobalt LT, that blew a connecting rod. It still runs and drives, although as soon as it was obvious we parked it. It's our only car, and if it wasn't for my wife's mom letting us borrow one of her cars we'd still be renting one so my wife could get to work. I work close to home so...
