2010 cobalt lt transmission fill plug

Got a 2010 Chevy Cobalt LT I'm trying to change transmission fluid on. Most of what I read there's supposed to be a red screw cap or hex screw to the right of the engine looking straight on and down where you fill but I'm not seeing either one. The best I can guess is some rubber looking seal in...
