    A**hole drivers.

Really sorry to hear that. My 2008 has suffered a shopping cart hit that cracked the tail light and a lightning strike last year that put a crazy scratchlike pattern in the roof. But, fortunately no other car to car contact. I see you are in CO? Maybe they should rethink the weed law? This...

    Stock 12v turn on

Some of the terminals turn off, some stay on. You have to test them to find out which does what you need. I forget which one I used (sunroof maybe).

    Stock 12v turn on

I've got a 2008. Assuming they are the same, there is a kick panel on the passenger side of the console that you can remove to show the fuse box. You can then either find a diagram online or use a voltmeter to determine which one would work for you.

    Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor

Yeah, tire guy told me that there is a new system in development that works by measuring tire speed or something.

    Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor

I've had them replaced at the tire store ($60). Guy there said that it is an awful design and they fail all the time. Sure enough, within 2 weeks, one of my sensors was failing and now only 1 works reliably. I just ignore them. However, I really wished they worked so if you find a cheap and...

    Cobalt refinish wheels?

Plastidip? What's that and how did you do it? I have steel rims, so not looking to make it as pretty as much as to not show the rust.

    front end shudder

Maybe it's a 2010 thing? Mine is a 2008 and I've never had anything like that. Right after I got it I had a "thumping" that just ended up being bad tires, but you have replaced that and more. Of course, "I can't drive 55" as Sammy says, so maybe mine does do it at that speed? But I never...

    Fuel Line Repair/Replacement

Yeah, not on my Cobalt, but I used fuel tubing (the rubber stuff) to patch a short stretch of broken line on my Accord once. It worked, but any rock or sharp object that gets kicked up there could give you a bad day. That's why they make them out of metal, of course. And if you are in an...

    Inconsistent Throttle

hmm, don't know really. But based on my experiences with this kind of behavior in the past, look into the Throttle Position Sensor and see if it is that.

    2010 cobalt radio replacement

Be aware (on the 2008 at least) that putting in the 3rd party radio may disable the "dings" for open doors and headlights left on and blinker clicks. That stuff is all handled through the radio. There is a $100 accessory that you can buy, which is basically a box that produces the tones, but...

    Hum sound while driving

After I got my car, had a "grinding" type sound, thought it was the bearing. Replaced one of them, didn't help. Turned out it was just worn/bad tires. New tires, sound gone. Stay away from the cheap ones, not worth it. I'm running on Pirelli's for 4 years now and still plenty of tread.

2006 Cobalt a/c condensation in passenger floor

Not sure about the original poster's car, but mine doesn't have a sunroof (wish it did!).

    cobalt 2010

When you say "clutch fluid", I assume you are talking about the hydraulic fluid for the clutch petal? You also should probably check the transmission fluid level, from under the car. Does sound like your clutch is going though, if the car isn't changing speed when the RPMs increase. I had a...

2006 Cobalt a/c condensation in passenger floor

I have this same problem. At first I kinda thought it was the air conditioning thing, but I have since become convinced that it is leaking when it rains, and to a lesser extent when I wash the car. I have yet to crawl under there to figure out where it is coming from but I suppose I should...

    Key fob

Hmm, depends. I actually bought a $40 system off Amazon for my 2007 to convert my door locks to electric. Worked great for a couple years, but now only one door works anymore because the wiring they used on it was crap. I need to take off the door skins and run new wire. Anyway, take a door...
