will a 2.2l from a 2007 cobalt fit and work in a 2005 cobalt ?

i have a 2005 base model with a 2.2l with 255000 on it and it finally gave up . i have found a engine out of a 2007 seems the same but just looking to make sure . also i found one from a 2009 .
