What would you do?

Im on my second down pipe now. 10k miles ago I replaced the first cat with a brand new one. Now that one is failing. (clunks and Rattles)

Would you cut the cat in half remove the guts and weld it back together, or would you put it in a vise and lightly compress it so it holds the internals?

I checked my steering shaft, everything looks good there, still wondering what that clunking noise from under my feet could be?

So if I replace the timing chain tensoner (sp) and actuator should I replace the timing chain its self.

I mean if im gonna do all this work, why not go the extra mile. I about got the car paid off, and would love to see it last me another 100k miles.

I ran my 95 cav with the 2.2ohv to 256k miles before the transmission finally gave out.

I plan to put in all new lower control arm mounts, new struts, sway bars, and lowering/performance springs. but im deciding on motor mounts.

Have any of you scene upgraded motor mounts?

PS if theres enough money left over maybe I will supercharge the car.
