Hello, I am the recent new owner of a 2006 Chevy Cobalt LT. I have always had trucks in my life but got a good deal on this vehicle and couldn't pass it up. I like my new vehicle but I feel like I need a little more power without killing my gas mileage. It is an automatic 4 door and I'm just looking for some ideas to add some power. I will be doing this little by little being that I have about 400$ a month I can use on car upgrades. If you guys have any good ideas or things you have done it would be greatly appreciated. By the way, places to get the items would be very helpful too. Thanks.

depends on what you want, you want to keep your warranty and go NA route or forced induction route

 its a 4 door so start off with some car seats in the back.

And I was waiting on this response. When I traded in my
last vehicle I got a deal I couldn't pass up on for this vehicle so getting the four door from a dependable friend for a like 2k less than the coupe from a random person seemed to be the better option. Laugh all you want sir but I'm not trying to make a race car I just want a little more power while driving. But i do suppose all my nieces carseats would fit nicely in the back. ;)

short ram intake-intake manifold 2.4- trottle body 2.4(need a tune). header from a SC, dowpipe SC and catback SC.

you can put these part without tune. but the last part you want to put before tuning it is gonna be the 2.4 trottle body.
