Hmmm if I put my little mind to it, I bet I could find a way to relocate them somewhere behind the rear headrests.

mine are relocated to where the bottom front of the back seat meet the side panels.
Finally found the rear seat releases
For those out there like me who still were stumped on finding the rear seat release lever/knob/handles. Don't stick your head in the trunk.
The two releases are located just below the rubber gasket in the trunk opening, about 18 inches apart in the center. The release cable is attached to the top of the trunk and runs from the handles to the back seat.
I was looking way in the trunk at the back of the seat for something direcly connected to the latches.

i would not recommend this if u have kids its a great idea but just what if there is that 1 TIME that some one locks them selves in the trunk?? lol

it's federally mandated that all vehicles with a trunk be fitted with a emergency trunk release located inside the trunk with a handle that glows in the dark. besides the fact that relocating the seat popper into the cabin only facilitates easier access to the trunk. so that being said it would be a smarter idea to get the seat releases to an easier accessible location than inside the trunk.
