OK so about a week ago I bought a 07 cobalt Ls and im trying to get all the kinks out of it. Theres some problems that i'm sure you all would know how to fix them.

#1 The idle on the car as soon as I turn it over jumps from 900 to 1500 to 300 back to 1500 over and over. When it warms up it stops doing it but today it died on me twice. Somewhere it said it could be that the throttle body could be dirty but I would like to get a answer for it b 4 I poke into it.

#2 The button that recirculats the air flashes about 4 to 5 times and then goes off? I can't get it to come on? I don't have the air filter in (It was black as hell I guess no one knew it was there) so don't know whats going on.

#3 The locks on it have something screwed up. The driver side works fine, passenger side, only the unlock works on it. The key fob, only the unlock works on it. You can hear it trying to lock it but its like the lock regulators are bad but the driver side works fine?

#4 Cruse controle don't work. Seen somewhere that unhooking the battery for 10 min will reset it but thats still a no go. Fuse blown or somethings just fed up?

also I would like to know what the dashs are on the odometer ex: --- 78000
could you put something there like the trip or something?

Im sure theres more but lets get these fixed first

Thanks and I hope you all can help

Well. Check the throttle body clean it with throttle body cleaner. Also check your plugs. Also check the cat. Also the cruise control works off vacuume so check the your lines. The fob problem could be alot of things basics would be the fob. Put the filter back in. If that doesn't help could be the ac switched word is exscapeing me right now. And I'm assumeing you are talking about the pollen filter behind the glove box and not the air filter. And welcome I'm sure others will chime in

yup the pollen filter is what im talking about, I just bought a new one online so im just waiting on it to come in. It still didn't work even when I had the filter in so I guess its the switch your talking about. Ill clean the throttle this weekend once I get passed all the plastic guards thats on this thing.

Welp cleaned out my throttle body friday and that seem to help! it was dirty and need to be cleaned. Sometimes the idle wants to stay up around 1200 or so, how do you adjust the idle or could that be the o2 sensors? The place I bought the car off of is going to get me two o2 sensors next weekend. Also I need to take off the door panel and replace the stock speakers. I have looked EVERYWHERE to find a walkthrough that had manual crank windows but can't find anything. Somewhere I seen thats theres a pin on the crank handle that you take out but I don't see jack. I dont want to tear anything up
