On my old engine it would run anywhere between 188 and 194. Now ever since my engine swap it runs anywhere from 208 to 214. Is this something I need to worry about?

Just another 2.2. Hit a pot hole when I was slammed and busted the oilpan causing the engine to seize up.

If you by chance have the old engine. I would take the thermostat out of it or go to autozone and buy like a 180 temp one. I think gm uses a 190 or 200.

I personally don't have the engine but I could check the dealer to see if they still have it.

Wouldn't buying a 180 thermostat give me inaccurate readings tho? I kno nothing about this subject lol.

Sorry was typing on my cell phone. A 190 thermostat, someone could of changed out the thermostat on your new engine if they live in a colder climate. Should only be like 15 dollars for a new 190 thermostat and a little pouch thing to make a seal around the thermostat housing.
