Underbody wire spit in the middle

Underbody wire split in the middle

I currently have a manual 2005 Chevy cobalt. Today after work I notice a wire hanging down under my car right by the passenger door. I have no idea what it's for or anything. My car still runs and all the electronics appear to be working just fine. The wires are a red one and a black one together. Can someone please help me out! Thanks!

Did you buy the car off a kid?
It could be underglow light wire.

Follow the wire find out where it
goes.
Best bet is to do that.

It has to be a wire that the previous owner added. From the factory all the wires are ran in the car. There is none that run under the car because of getting damaged.
