So I'm wondering if anyone can give me some input on this. I've just replaced the control arm bushings as the main ones were toast. I have put everything back together tight, and with locktight. I have checked the lower ball joints, and they are tight. I have put the car on jackstands, and used a jack to push up the control arm to see if I could replicate the clunk, but nothing. There is no unnecessary play in any of the front end suspension. Any thoughts? there is a little bit of play in in the cv joints, but I assume that is normal for a knuckle joint. My only thoughts are that it's the top strut bearing that is not liking the movement. Ideas?

This is on a 2008 pontiac g5.

Did not mean to post here. My laptop whacked out & when I came back to the page, I posted in the wrong front end clunk thread.
