Help Identify this Part!

Hoping to get some help to identify this part before I go to the dealership.

Today I almost lost control of my Cobalt, nearly sideswiped a median and hopped a curb. In doing so something under the car got cracked and dented and is leaking fluid. The oil levels seam ok so not sure if it is the oil pan or something else ..

See picture below. Just want to know what that is (under the engine near the front).

Sorry to hear this Sherry. Glad know one was injured. I'm not sure what that part is but you can check in your vehicle's Owner's Manual, there may be engine diagram pictures there.

Oil pan, oil is dripping. Buy new one.
