2008 l61 car engine swap

Hey guys I got a 08LS with the L61 how much of a pain would it be to just do a full Lsj swap or would I be better of doing a build with the l61

I'm my opinion I think swaps are always the way to In and Out an done! Doesn't look to hard to do its a fairly small engine so getting it out shouldn't be the end of the world just drop your sub frame if u even have then pull your axles , I've heard of guys pulling the engine without having to split the tranny , I have an LS 06 myself an would love to swap a entire SS super charged engine assembly one day if possible. Lemme kno how it works out for u

I agree it doesn't look to bad what in concerned about is the engine wiring to the existing car speedo and such plus it's a auto..... And going to a manual seems like a ton of work

Auto to manual is a new BCM IIRC. Same with swapping in an entire LSJ.

Linkage and a clutch pedal as well though
