Cruise control availability and steering wheel question

I know LTZ and 2LT models typically all have cruise. I have seen a few 1LT models with it as well. Did any LS Cobalt come available with cruise, maybe earlier 05-06 years? Was it available on fleet models, maybe?

Most of the ones I've been looking at are 07-08 because I like the 3 spoke steering wheel better, but I'll consider an 05-06. Is there any reason the later 07-10 steering wheel could not be used on the 05-06 models? I'm assuming the cruise/radio buttons may work, but I'm also assuming that different airbags may not match up. Did the connectors and clockspring change at all between 2006 and 2007, or just the cosmetic appearance of the wheel and airbag?

Found my own answer on the SS forum...

All Cobalts have cruise control. You just need the plastic cover on the left side of the steering wheel, a connector/wiring harness bit, and an hour of Tech II time at the dealer. Voila, you have cruise.

Clockspring is the same part 2005-2011 for all Cobalts, HHRs, and G5's regardless of trim level. Same part number also fits Solstice/Sky and 07-09 Equinox/Torrent. PN# 20940100.
