I have never been a fan of the front bumper of the LT Sedan.. The "slats" just look ugly.. now i do not have the money to buy an SS Bumper.. thinking about just cutting the sections out... I did a photoshop for an idea of the look..

Thoughts?

You won't see ground like you think. The sides go to the under headlight area which is closed in. The middle would work but I've never been a fan.

I worked on it last night.. I took out the middle piece around the logo... i realized it was "clipped" in... only had to cut the tabs..

I think i still want to cut those lower 3 sections.. the middle one did seem easier... but the sides ones i'm just not sure how i want to cut the edges.. since its slanted in... I may see how it looks right now in the daytime.

Mine have faded quite a bit in some spots. Thinking of pulling that piece entirely, cleaning thoroughly, seeing how it turns out, then either paint or plastidip a nice matte black. Same goes for that little plastic bit under the back bumper. These plastic bits fade to gray over time and look decidedly janky.
