Auto headlights

I love my auto headlights on my 2010 LT cobalt, but I'm wondering 2 things:

1) Will they drain car battery quicker?
2) Will they cause the bulb to wear out quicker?

It won't drain your battery as it's not used when the car is off.

Bulbs are rated in hours, the longer they are on, the closer to being dead they are. That being said the auto lights do a good job of being on when you need them and off when you don't. The high beams are used for your DRL lights so depending on when you drive you will have either the highs or lows go first, but it's quite a while.

Just don't buy Silverstar or Silverstar Ultras, those burn out fast.
