I have been having the same issues for years now with the thermostat and EVAP. I was wanting to see if anyone had had the same issues and if so what did you do to help resolve it for good or at least longer than couple years.

I have a 2007 Chevy Cobalt LS 2.2L. In the last 3 years I have replaced my thermostat purchased from Autozone about 4-5 times now. I recently had it replaced in January and everything worked fine up till this morning. Coolant reads ---F so I'm sure it is out again.

I also had problems with the EVAP sensor replaced it several times to and the check engine light would go off 2-4 months and it comes back on again.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My advice would be to replace it with an AC-Delco thermostat. My daughter has a 2007 Cobalt and I replaced hers about three years ago and it has been fine since. Seems these cars only work well with OEM parts and aftermarket parts are hit and miss.
