Hello,

I've been searching on DRL fixes, which have stopped working on my 2007 Cobalt. The fuse is fine, and headlights low\hi work along with the light sensor. But those darn running lights don't turn on.
I've found some posts on a purple wire which is a extremely long wire used as a resistance. Well, I took apart the fuse panel and couldn't locate the wire.
Does anyone have pictures on the location? Also how would I test the DRL relay which is part of the PCB board.

Thanks

A little late but,
If you have an automatic transmission, your ignition switch needs to be in the run position and the transmission in drive for the DRL’s to come on.
I don’t know about a standard transmission.

Get a good wiring schematic and lay out to find and trace out the circuit run.
Also make sure both your hi beam lamps have good filaments. Check this diagram out.
