your hubby did a great job with that. i've seen similar ones that look like shit when they did them that way. and yes the black is hard to keep fully painted if you live in an area that has alot of rocks. i know from first hand experience.

but bar none, i think the black makes it look 10x better, it no longer looks like gutterguard when it is painted properly. To the OP, absolutely pick a color and paint it up, you will be much happier with it painted.

It'll be hard to keep the front grilles black. I did that on my eclipse and they stayed black for a little bit, but it wasn't 2 months and after scrapin bugs out of them and washing them the paint begin to flake.
THAT'S the reason why I'm iffy about painting it black. I don't want to deal with flakes and chipping later down the road.

I'm pretty sure black will look better BUT I may go with a silver/red theme and the way it is now will match better. I'm still undecided for the time being, it's gutter guard gray, lol.

I vote for Black but have heard that black makes it easier to see in vs. the silver... I'm just not a HUGE fan of chrome... my wheels get annoying to me with the chrome pieces on...

once you go black... yeah. :afro:

Why don't you paint ur inserts gunmetal? That's what I'm gonna do

powder coating should hold up better than a rattle can job. I do like it though, kind makes me reconsider billet inserts
