You really shouldn't splice or "repair" sensor wires. you should replace sensor wires in their entirety. Any other way is shotty work. ECMs send 5 volt voltage to sensors and then monitors the returned voltage. butt connectors, solder and smaller gauge wire than original wire will alter actual...
