i've had pilot 8000k in stock painted housings for over a year. no glare, no tickets, no problems. gen 4's are the new projectors, they don't look bad if you ask me and I am very critical of that type of headlight. retrofitting is cool butttt imo those round projector thingies are ugly to begin...

just need to make yourself an idler pulley adapter. honestly, if you remove the rest of the a/c system besides the pump, you can just have it act as a 10 lb idler as long as the clutch is disengaged. just unplug it and tuck the wire somewhere. thats what my friend paul did. if you do the adapter...
