We got it out in one peice. Just took the clips out for the grill so that we were able pull the bumper away a little.

You don't need to take the wheel off. We did mine last week by just turning the wheels and loseing the wheel liner. Then unbolted the Resonator and pulled it up through the headlight opening. With the GMPP intake on and the resonator out you really notice the increase in the trottle Responce...

Washed both balts today.

Mine have majority of the coil at the top. Also the printing on them is right side up.

Mine started to bend. I'm lucky it didn't break.

Mine went back used out of the box because it would not go in being the clamp was in the middle.

Just don't get their $10 spring compressor. That's what I had till the rod striped and wouldn't turn anymore. I had to go rent one from auto zone to finish the install while letting my car on jack stands in the driveway. I did get a refund for it from Harbor Freight. I also have the impact gun...

It's not really that hard. It took me about 3 hours to do mine. That was with my dad helping. I have done them before so that helped. You will need to have someone to help with the install. You will need to get your alignment done afterwards. To bad your your not in PA because I would help...

The sportlines are one the best looking drops. That's what I thought about going with. But i've heard that the ride real rough due do to the lack of travel.

But to come to work i would of had to use a screwdriver to push the center rod down to put in gear and in park. So maybe Sunday i'll paint it. I can't Saturday because that's our huge PA Cobalt meet we should have about a 100 cobalts showing up.

Thats what i was going to say is Pedlers. Now if you want really good handling but still stock like ride and also mild drop that puts you at the same height of a stock civic then go with pro Kit. Here is mine with Pro Kit. I measured 1 Inch drop in the front and 2 in the rear.

I'll try to get some pics tomorrow. It's also fun putting it in gear when the knob is off.

The 2010 with the boot does come off the same as other years. It's just covered by the boot.

Yep here is a pic. ---------- Post added at 02:30 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:16 PM ---------- I seen your walk through. I guess i'll have to push the ring on thr bottom down with a screw driver to get access to the screw. Or cut the zip tie holding the boot to make it easier.

No there is no chrome piece. The part where the boot is zip tied on turn a little that's it. Here is a pic of the whole shifter.
