True but some projectors don't light as good. For the example the factory projectors in my old Mazda 6 were not as bright as the factory Cobalt headlights.

A easy way to get it stated is to cut the tape with fishing line. Then you should be able to pull the trim. That's how I did mine on my last car and others.

I want to get brighter headlight but I don't want Hid's. Has anyone used the Phillips X-treme or GE nighthawk platinum bulbs. If so how do they compare to stock and how long do they last.
