well once you take off the headlight housing...you will look down and see this this gigantic canister...its only held in in 2 places. the first one towards the front is a 10mm bolt i believe and the one holding it from the back is a type of clip that you pull the head out and then the rest of it...

o man i have a timeslip of me running a civic...i seriously did not know he was that slow...lol. the funny part was that i talked to the driver before hand and after the race i did not see him anymore...he ran a very high 19 sec....lol

the idle huh...might be a vacuum leak somewhere...as for the VSS...it could be the sensor that went bad...but i doubt that will fix the idle. if anything have your friend do a compression check and make sure that there is actual compression. hopefully the timing is not off and the valves arent bent.

that setup is cool man...i like how you pop the hood and it looks like all you have is a cold air intake...lol it also looks alot cleaner than my engine bay

take your cams to a machine shop and have them cut them and press on the sensor from the original cam...i had some stage 2 comp cams before but they were not what i was looking for so i sold them...yes u might notice that i have an 05...but the head on the block is from an 07 so i kinda fucked...
