2005 Cobalt LS, Wiring Amplifier to a stock radio.
well, this is actually a bit easier than it may seem. what you can do for the remote wire is just tap into a fuse in the fuse box on the passenger side of the console. just find a fuse that has power when the ignition is on and off when it is not. for the HI/LO converter, you should tap into...- themeanmarine83

Can't get deck to work.(Sorry, it's a long post)
i just installed a new clarion HU in my 06 lt and it was super easy. i did have to run my own acc line. other wise, all my dings and lights work fine and i only paid $20 for my harness. i think the hardest part of the process was replacing the rear deck speakers.- themeanmarine83

the kit from HID Kits - Xenon Kit - Car Lights offers their kit with a halogen HI bulb, which is apart of the HID bulb. this enables you to use highs and lows, though, i doubt you will need highs with the HIDs.- themeanmarine83

HID Question
bi-xenon is basically a kit that allows you to have HI/LOW beam HID. the kit would come with 2 ballasts. I have just the LO setup and i never use my high beams. i do have bulbs that allow me to use my highs, but they are just regular bulbs integrated with the HID bulb. now, for a good kit, try...- themeanmarine83

you need to swap the outside wires where the stock wiring harness plugs into the HID harness. i had the same problem. for whatever reason, the two wires were not in the correct spot. please try that. i am sure that is the issue. actually, my HID came with a bulb for the HIGHS, so, you may just...- themeanmarine83

HID Balast placement
no problem. the kit for our car also lets you keep your highs( sort of ) i believe there is an H3 bulb on the HID bulb. it isn't as bright, but it works and it is nice to through a little more light on those that like to flash us cause of our lights. :)- themeanmarine83

CARHIDKITS.COM is where i got mine. they are $79 + shipping. i think it come out to be less than $100. very good kit. this is for the 6000k kit. they do have others, but they cost a bit more, $109 before shipping. i hope this helps- themeanmarine83
