2.2 ecotec 112k. valves started ticking about 2 weeks ago. I checked oil, changed oil. This ticking would come and go for about 2 days. The 3rd day the car was making a deep chirping noise and wouldn't idle ( assumed from lack of oil) so I pulled off the valve cover and the camshafts looked dry...
