How have you improved your fuel economy?
i have a aem cold air intake and just a weld on ebay muffler and im getting about 24.4 average mpg even though i drive alot of highway miles what can i do to improve this because b4 intake and muffler i was getn 28-30+ mpg- Cobalt714

Ok so i was stupid and decided to do that gauge mod to change the color (putting clear blue behind plastic behind it) it didnt work (was rubbing and needle was getting stuck) so i decided to take it out and now the gauge doesnt go to zero it is about half and inch lower than zero. i tried...- Cobalt714

so a few days ago my stereo startd acting up, the display gets messed up and starts basically going crazy so my q is what can i do to fix it it gets a lil better as im driving but when car just starts its bad and screen is unreadable :think: it looks like the language from transformers- Cobalt714

Ok so i just stuck an AEM cold air intake and a weld on n1 type muffler on my car and im seeing a big decrease in my mpg. before i would get about 25-28mpg on streets and now its 21-22ish im just wondering what could b the cause? and if i get rid of the muffler and stick the stock one back on...- Cobalt714

Muffler help?
yea i just bought a muffler online for like 35 and had it welded on i was wondering would adding a muffler & intake lower mpg? ---------- Post added at 03:38 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:36 PM ---------- remove the stock air box (silencer) and get an intake, it will be alot louder- Cobalt714
