    Front sway bar question

Do you have a front sway bar? If you have Sport Lines, they're not made for handling as much as lowering. But I'm running 24mm FE5 (SC) front bar, Powell Hardcore (1.25") rear bar, SS/TC FE5 Struts/Shocks, FE5 moog end links, FE5 control arms, and there's basically zero body roll. Strut...

    Front sway bar question

    It's definitely a 23mm. Cobalt TC FE5 23mm Swaybar 15782696 25847759 SS/TC has a 23mm, SS/SC has a 24mm. And I've never heard of a "24.5mm" front bar on a Cobalt, that's something that wouldn't make sense for them to do. They went with a 23 because that's what worked with those struts and...

    Front sway bar question

You're going to have a hell of a time removing or installing any of the swaybars. 1-2mm isn't going to be too noticeable. I would definitely suggest either FE5 bar. I personally have the 24mm SS/SC bar up front. Works great with my 1.25" Powell out back! Yes, and the common swap is the...

    Monroe Quick Struts?

Haven't had experience with those - but I know many people have made the mistake of running the Monroe Sensa-Tracs, and have gone through multiple pairs of them. Monroe knows they have issues, and they replace them with no problem, but after a while, replacing your struts gets old. I don't...

    06 cobalt ls(front noist & vibrating)

Yep, just replaced mine earlier this year...sucker sounded like a Banshee in my driver-front wheel, it was loud! I did the typical "move the wheel around" test for the wheel bearing, and strangely it didn't exhibit any play there, or at least anything noticible. When you spun the bearing by...

    Supercharged 2.2

Yep. Same here. There's a few parts lists out there with what you need (mine being one). Do your homework, find all your parts, and have fun. It's not an overly hard swap to do, it's just one that can get very frustrating very quickly if you realize you forgot one crucial part...

    brake pads and rotors

This is a very important step. Depending on who makes your brake pads, they may list their procedure for bedding them in. If not, it's easy to find online. Biggest one being - don't forget to torque the lugs down!!

    Brake pad recommendation.

Hawk HPS pads here, as well. Many an AutoX on them, as well as close to 40 or 50k miles of daily driving on them - plenty of life left. After a couple stops, when they start to warm up, they really begin to bite!

Cobalt 2.2 to 2.4 Intake Kit

Yup. There was a company or something that was selling the 2.4 manifolds off LE5 crate engines for cheap, just can't remember who they were. Think it was on ebay...

Hi everyone, My name is Kyle, and I have a 2007 Chevy Cobalt LT that a few of you might already be familiar with. Here's a picture of the car: For those who aren't familiar with my car, it has a long list of modifications, but the most notable is likely the M62 with 2.9" Pulley. :)...
