I get 40+ (2.2 XFE) but I live in Texas it's all flat and it's all highway miles :-) The #1 way to increase fuel economy (assuming you've kept up maintenance) is to reduce rotating weight. i got locked IN my car...
I had the same problem, but mine was still under warranty so I had all my door handles replaced inside and out the plastic was breaking where it connected to the actuators that released the door locks.- SloBalt_L61

I fully realize that this was posted 8 months ago but hey I just got here and havent had any luck sleeping so far tonight... a lot of auto-x guys that run cobalts have a "stiffy" it's an engine mount built like a small adjustable shock that helps eliminate wheel hop or breaking the tires loose...- SloBalt_L61

Doing a redesign on the skin.
haven't done a whole lots of mods yet but if you can wait two weeks I'll have fender stripes and it'll be lowered so it won't look like a moon buggy anymore... sounds like that will be too late though.- SloBalt_L61

for future reference on the LS models if you hold down both info and return buttons at the same time it will take you to an alternate set up menu where you can change basic info. A lot of them have had problems with the keyhole pins in the ignition breaking. Just don't be shocked if one time your key won't shut off or come out. stay away from adapter plates 99% are very poorly made in China and will leave you sad and disappointed. I sell wheels and tires for a living trust me adapter plates are a bad way to go.
