Cobalt 2006 NO START after removal of ecm
You're getting a misfire, did you change your plugs after doing the coil? If No, change them. If not, Did you take the rail off that's connected to the plug boots when messing with the coil?If Yes, make sure the rail is seated correctly on all 4 plugs. Said Rail, check it for cracks/broken...- Dabs

Yep, you sir were correct. I have no idea how I didn't see that or think of it. I was thinking since it was the steering shaft the center was meant to be solid, not a slide. I wish I could give you some cookies lol :-) Thanx again Man! You're a saver!- Dabs

Really?!? Ok, I'll have to look at it again... I didn't notice a way to make it do that but I'll check it out. It's notched/indexed on both sides, I might have overlooked it. If that's what it is, the cobalt will be driving today! :-p Thanks again five7man!- Dabs

Car shudders/CEL flashing when I accelerate at about 50 mph
Does it feel like it's running on 3 cylinders? Not literally, but the feeling? I had something similar when I replaced my injectors. Turned out to be the vacuum line to the throttle-body. Turns out I must have unlocked the clip when working. So I removed the line, cleaned it up and put it back...- Dabs

Just an update and another odd issue. I've got the point where I've now replaced the rack and installed the new tierods however: When installing the new steering shaft I noticed that the new one was ~1inch shorter than the original. Dude Thank you!!! This is the first I've seen that #1 says to use a tierod removal tool and #2 To remove the Rear Trans Mount. This was the specific information I was looking for man, thank you!- Dabs

no fuel pressure at rail.
Check your filter. I had this problem a while back & it actually ended up sending some junk to my injectors. Replaced the filter, checked for pressure. The old filter was clogged providing little to 0 pressure.- Dabs
