05 Heater Core Removal & Replacement? How To?

This topic has probably been beaten to death like a dead dog but I'm new to this forum so here it goes....Just bought a 2005 Cobalt LS 2.2l for my daughters first car. It's got issues but the one I'm tackling right now is replacing the heater core. I searched on YouTube but didn't find much so can someone directed to a link or does another member have insider info or where can I search for info? HELP?

I'd suggest picking up either the Haynes manual or a set of the service books for an 05. That's a bit of an involved process from what my books show.

Are you sure the core needs replaced?
