On Thanksgiving, I tried starting my car after a few hours of it sitting and it didn't want to start, after about 5 tries and 5 or 10 minutes later it started up. I noticed I had to hold down the key and after a full second or so it'd start up.
Fast forward to the past 2 weeks:
The car started every attempt but every time, I had to hold the key down for it to start.
Yesterday I attempted to start the car, and it will not start at all.The car has full power, there is no starter click upon trying to start.
A friend and I jacked it up and seen that the wires going to the starter are a bit corroded. I'm on the verge of buying a new starter and replacing it, but what all should I be checking in the chance it's not the starter. Relays, connections?
