I was involved in an accident and the trunk is smashed in a little bit and won't open at all from the outside. Does anyone know a way to access the trunk from the inside? I've tried using a clothes hanger to push the rods that drop the seats down, but that was unsuccessful. Any help would be appreciated.

You'll have to shove someones arm through the seats and then pull one of the seat release cables off the top of the trunk to get that down.
Alternatively, since they'll be replacing the trunk anyway. Bend the damaged body panel back.
