From your description though it sounds like a loose connection somewhere.

Hey everyone im having some issues why my cobalts obd2 readout port ... I connect my obd2 reader and nothing it was working just a couple days ago... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks

Might want to check fuses and make sure you're getting voltage and ground at the OBD2 plug.
