My 2008 2.2L cobalt automatic has rpm fluctuations problem at 35,45 and 55 mph. Dealer wants to replace valve body and torque converter solinoid valve. I cant afford this yet. Someone suggested adding lucas trans. Fix type product. Can i use a manual fluid pump to remove appropriate amount of tranny fluid add fix?

You could try flushing the transmission, but I wouldn't suggest anything besides the stock fluid.
