I recently had my gas tank and fuel pump replaced on my Cobalt. All costs covered by a recall through GM. After the mechanic was done I took it home didn't notice anything tell later in the day when it started cutting out around 2000 -2500 rpm check engine light came on. So I scanned with ob2 reader, 2 codes popped up. 0171 and 0171 pd. Basically I have a lean bank either not enough fuel or not enough oxygen. It's the weekend so can't take it back tell Monday. Any easy fixes you guys can think it might be? I'm changing the fuel filter today.

What was the resolution to the problem after your going back to the dealer ?

But more importantly, can you tell me the symptoms that you had to prompt the fuel pump replacement and the recall number that the dealer replaced it under ?
I am getting a gas smell now and was able to look above the gas tank and see seepage at and around the fuel pump on mine.
