My husband has a bent rim (he has the stock factory steel rims with the hubcaps) - his tire is not losing air but he can feel the vibration from it. Can a bent rim be repaired or does he need to get a new rim? I was planning on upgrading my 2010 Cobalt to 16" aluminum rims - I could always give him one of my rims at the time I upgrade, but that won't be for probably 6 months or so.

They can be fixed. Most shops hammer them. If and when u do upgrade I suggest u get 17's instead. They look better. Unless your not planning on modding u balt

can you visually see the bent rim? vibration can also be felt from improper tire balance which typically is a result of losing a balancing weight by hitting a pothole or something similar
